For many years, women have strived for gaining equality with men. They have been held back and their opportunities taken away from them because of the fact that they’re women. Feminism has had a profound negative effect in the past and is still having a negative effect in the high profile of modern society. Feminism is still as relevant today as it was when women were fighting for their right to vote. In modern society, women and men aren’t thought of equals, when compared to the strong, dominant male. Females are often thought of as inferior and not as nearly important as males are. Women seek equality and the opportunities and advantages that men receive. Feminism has proven to have a profound negative effect in modern society, women are degraded by many men and don’t have the many advantages that men receive, there must be a solution to end feminism. Feminism is about the way women are treated in everyday life. Currently, feminism focuses mostly on issues pertaining to women because we live in a patriarchal society that determines how and when women should be viewed and treated in society. We live in a male-dominated society; a society that values masculine behavior over feminine behavior. Feminism has had a negative major influence since its beginnings.
